1. Our accessibility direction
xtraLesson is designed to support a broad range of learners and organisations. We treat responsive design, keyboard access, readable structure, focus visibility, alternative text, contrast, form labels and RTL-safe layouts as baseline product requirements.
2. Accessibility target
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an accessibility design target where reasonably practicable. This statement is not a certification that every current or legacy page, third-party component, document, video or learning asset fully conforms to every WCAG criterion. Accessibility improvement is an ongoing part of product development and content operations.
3. Scope and known limitations
The xtraLesson ecosystem includes the public website, learner web experience, xtraLesson Mobile, WordPress, Tutor LMS, multilingual content, media, downloadable and offline learning resources, and third-party services. Some vendor components, legacy assets, automatically generated media or external resources may have limitations that xtraLesson cannot fully control. We aim to reduce avoidable barriers and to improve our own components as issues are identified.
4. Alternative formats and support
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in an alternative format, please tell us what page, course or resource is affected, the barrier you experienced, the assistive technology or device involved where relevant, and the format or support that would help. Use the Contact xtraLesson and identify the request as an accessibility issue.
5. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is included in the xtraLesson Experience System and launch acceptance process. We review responsive behaviour, keyboard use, focus states, labels, headings, contrast, alternative text and other accessibility considerations as the ecosystem evolves.
