1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms govern use of xtraLesson websites, learning services, academies, courses, Learning Paths, resources, accounts, certificates, demo or pilot environments and related digital services that link to these Terms. By using a service, you agree to these Terms. If you use xtraLesson on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
A separate signed proposal, order form, subscription, pilot agreement, statement of work, programme agreement or institutional contract may contain additional or different terms. Where there is a conflict, the signed agreement will normally govern that specific relationship.
2. Accounts, identity and access
- Provide accurate registration information and keep account credentials confidential.
- Do not share an individual account with unauthorised users or attempt to access another person’s account.
- Access to academies, courses or programmes may depend on Free-for-life, Free preview, All Access, Institutional, Programme, Government or other configured access arrangements.
- xtraLesson may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, non-payment, contractual breach or legal compliance.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the services only for lawful, authorised learning, programme or business purposes.
- Do not probe, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, damage or attempt unauthorised access to xtraLesson systems or data.
- Do not upload malware, spam, unlawful material or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not remove ownership, copyright, trademark, certificate, disclaimer or attribution notices.
- Do not resell, republish, redistribute or commercially exploit xtraLesson content unless an agreement expressly permits it.
4. Learning content and AI-assisted development
xtraLesson develops learning using its own curriculum and learning structures, research and reference materials, practical scenarios, human review and AI-assisted tools where appropriate. AI tools may support drafting, organisation, summarisation, translation or media production, but xtraLesson remains responsible for the content it publishes and does not represent AI output as an independent professional authority.
5. Use Cases, statistics and external evidence
Use Case articles may cite external research, statistics or publications and may include illustrative deployment scenarios. Unless a page expressly identifies a verified client engagement, a Use Case is not a claim that xtraLesson has already delivered the described deployment or results for a named organisation. External evidence can change over time, and readers should review the cited source and date.
6. Certificates and recognition
Certificates may recognise participation, progress or completion according to the relevant course or programme rules. Unless expressly stated in a separate agreement, a certificate is not an academic degree, professional licence, government accreditation, regulatory certification or guaranteed award of academic credit.
7. Intellectual property
xtraLesson websites, academy structures, course designs, learning materials, videos, audio, study guides, workbooks, templates, graphics, certificates, software interfaces, brands and related materials are owned by or licensed to xtraLesson unless otherwise stated. Your access is a limited right to use the material for the authorised purpose; ownership is not transferred.
8. User submissions, discussions and feedback
Where a service permits comments, assignments, discussion posts, reflections, files or feedback, you remain responsible for what you submit and must have the right to submit it. xtraLesson may moderate or remove material that is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, misleading, infringing, spam-related or inconsistent with the learning environment. Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve xtraLesson services without an obligation to pay compensation.
9. Paid services and organisational deployments
Where fees apply, the applicable price, taxes, learner or seat scope, term, renewal, cancellation, support, implementation, branding, reporting and other commercial conditions are defined by the relevant public offer or, for managed deployments, the applicable written commercial agreement.
10. Mobile application use
xtraLesson Mobile provides another experience layer for accessing eligible xtraLesson learning. The same account, catalogue and entitlement rules apply across supported web and mobile experiences. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure and for using offline downloads only for authorised personal learning.
Mobile functionality may depend on device capabilities, operating-system permissions, internet connectivity, push-notification services, app-store distribution and other platform services outside xtraLesson’s direct control. Availability of specific features may differ by app version or device.
11. Third-party services and links
xtraLesson may link to or integrate third-party hosting, media, communication, analytics, reference, learning or productivity services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. References to third parties do not by themselves imply endorsement, sponsorship or partnership.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, modify, add, remove, suspend or discontinue features, content or services where reasonably necessary.
13. Educational purpose, professional advice and outcomes
xtraLesson content is intended for education, skills development and practical learning. It is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, regulatory, engineering, psychological or other professional advice. Learning outcomes, employment, promotion, academic progression, funding, business performance or other results depend on many factors and are not guaranteed by participation in xtraLesson.
14. Limitation and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, xtraLesson is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Governing law
Unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by laws applicable in the State of Qatar. A client agreement may specify a different governing law, jurisdiction or dispute-resolution process for that relationship.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or legal environment changes. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date. Questions about these Terms can be submitted through Contact xtraLesson.
